Mr. Chalkey serves as Managing Director in charge of the Ottawa Division. Dean assists our municipal and private clients with site improvements, roadway, water, storm water and sanitary projects and has been involved on project teams for numerous IDOT and federally funded maintenance and reconstruction projects.

He works closely with grant agencies in pursuit of alternative funding options for our municipal clients and has been successful in obtaining grant funds for many of their infrastructure projects which include water towers, sanitary and storm water drainage and safe-routes to school among others. Mr. Chalkey is also a certified floodplain manager assisting clients with residential and commercial developments adjacent to floodplains and has been involved in many extensive floodplain studies throughout LaSalle, Bureau, Grundy and the surrounding counties. He holds an FAA commercial drone pilot certificate and has implemented an aerial survey program for Chamlin and Associates.
