A 78 acre recreational area with a 6.5 acre lake located in the northeast area of Peru, Illinois. The facility was designed and constructed using State grants, local funds and donations to protect downstream properties from damaging floods by detaining storm water flows and to provide parkland for the surrounding residential areas.
