Scope of Work
Phase I and II engineering for reconstruction of 1.07 miles of Peoria Street in the City of Peru to add a two‐way left turn lane and to
construct a roundabout for the intersection of Peoria Street with Plank Road and Sunset Drive. Phase I work included development of alignments of Peoria Street with and without a roundabout, improvements to five other intersections and coordination with plans to extend / construct a network of streets between Peoria Street and Plank Road. This required setting roadway and ditch grades to improve drainage for an area extending 1.8 miles north and west of the south terminus of the Peoria Street project. Work included field surveys, traffic studies, development of a traffic control plan, holding public meetings to discuss the project, submittal of an environmental survey request, preparation of a local roads Project Development Report and final plans. This project required a total of 1.28 acres of new right-of-way from eleven different parcels along the route.
